Our Story Behind The Rebrand

The Directors tell the story behind the rebrand

How long has the original FGD branding been in place?
Since our inception in 2004.

Who designed the original?
Richard Aucott: "I did, on my old PC at home. The original design was in “times roman” font, not the sexiest. It was never meant to be the finished article; it was just a concept. It then went onto all of our letterheads, invoices and business cards. It even made it onto some Baseball caps we had produced. When we came to put a livery on our first FGD truck, Sure Signs from Kingswinford helped us make the logo look better by beefing out the lettering, and this logo has been in place throughout the business ever since. Until now."

What made you think about a brand refresh?
The brand refresh represents progress. FGD continually looks to improve all aspects of its business. Our logo signifies the next chapter of our history. It shows our commitment and desires to grow.

Describe the new logo in three words:
Precise/Integrity/Reliable

Tell us about the new East Office and when are you looking to open?
The new office will be open in January 2023. Another excellent investment to allow the continued growth that the business has been enjoying for many years. It also shows FGD's commitment to providing a state-of-the-art facility for its staff to match its investment into providing a better experience to all its clients.

Why did you choose Parallel Creative to design the new branding?
Callan Moulton our Regional Sales Manager was aware of their services from previous dealings and proposed them. Leigh and his team have done a fantastic job.

As a business, what are you most looking forward to in 2023?
The opening of our new state of the art office in Coventry and the continuing progression geographically North and South. The aim for 2023 is to nurture the very best out of all our staff and to ensure their experience of working for FGD is the best within our industry.
